: The present study evaluated the effect of integration electro-kinetic (EK) oxidation with sonication degradation diesel in a hydrocarbon contaminated wastewater. operational parameters including initial pH (3 - 9), (100 300 W), voltage (0.5 3 V/cm), and reaction time (60 150 min) were studied consecutively. highest total petroleum (TPH) destruction rate 40% was achieved at 5. Also, increasing intensity up to W improved removal 70%. pseudo-first-order kinetic model selected due higher correlation coefficient. Considering obtained EK is viable efficient technology for treatment wastewaters.
